Where can I find 8125 in the UK

I'm almost out of white BCY 8125, and I'm having trouble finding a stockist in the UK.

I'd prefer to stick with what I know, rather than switching to 8125G.

Does anyone know where I can find some?

Cheers.

You may find it difficult. BCY don't seem to list it anymore, so you may be stuck looking for remnant stock.

Bowsports (1/8lb) and Centreshot (1/4lb) both listing it. If it's in stock you would have to ask them.

Oh... Centreshot are listing 1/4lb white as 'in stock' Good Luck.

Urgh. ?55 for 1/4lb? Hmmm.

Maybe it's time to try something different. Do you know how FF+ compares?

I found that 8190 < original Spectra based FF < 8125 < original TS1 (silicone waxed) < 8125G < Angel Majesty in terms of sheer velocity (20 strands, 0.7 twists/inch, 700# prestretch, 48 lbs, 365 grain arrow- all other variables normalized), however, the 8190 was far more temperature stable (-10 - +120F) than the others.
Post from GT on Archery talk, note that he was only talking a few FPS overall:
Fast Flight VS. 8125/8190??

If it's anything like it used to be, FF comes much waxier than BCY usually makes them.May need some de-waxing to get it weight stable.

Ta for that :)

Not really a fan of 8190; I hate the idea of trying to keep the tension even over so many strands on the jig. FF+ does look like a good alternative.

Wales Archery have it at a better price if interested - https://walesarchery.com/collections/bowstring-materials/products/bcyformula812514 You might want to phone to double check with them it's the right item and in stock, but as they have the 8125G under a separate listing (for a higher price) it's a fair bet it is. They also have D97 at what looks to be a good price, I think that is considered as very close to FF+ overall (strands are a little thicker, so I understand but otherwise close).
