  • I'm not having any noticeable problems with them. No more than other spin vanes at least. They all seem prone to alignment issues (in the sense of even distribution round a thin shaft). But that doesn't seem to affect behaviour, spin vanes in general seem to be tolerant of damage. Hell, I've shot shafts with a vane missing and not noticed a difference in behaviour (at shorter ranges, at least).

    I would note that one of the standard fixes for a rogue shaft is to re-nock and re-fletch it. Sometimes that's all it needs.

    One thing, with stiffer spin vanes (like the XSwings, and flonites) I suspect clearance can be more of an issue. A brush with a projection which does not leave damage (or not a lot) can throw a shaft out.
