    Gillo GT Riser 2019

If it became ubiquitous then maybe the design of limb butts would change too. No need to design a limb that can pivot. No need to narrow the notch section to allow the movement.

now heres a thing I hadnt noticed

Index up for blade rest, down for prongs and anywhere you fancy for drop-away. That's the standard I'm aware of anyway.

I saw that one on the FB group. Didn't realise it was carbon though.

    Marking Arrows

Isn't that braille? Or is there a different definition of Morse code now?

Why we both love & hate 'muricans....

I once though petrol would make a good firestarter. Lucky none of the flaming paper fragments landed in anything flammable. I used to have a XX75 shaft with a hole melted in it from using an exploding target. Think I've chucked it now. Still have my fingers and eyebrows.

Yeah, enjoy it. You're probably nearly finished now. I was going to enter myself but vacillated too much about which day to go for. One of my clubmates was shooting I think.

    Gillo GT Riser 2019

Is there going to be an issue with limb efficiency though? If limbs work best over specific brace heights due to where the string leaves the limb groove, then the outer limits of Gillo adjustment will stretch this relationship far beyond current ranges. If that's correct then maybe you'd need...

Pressure buttons - how do they really work?

For a start, the spring plunger gives less disturbance to the arrow. Like Del's leather. The plunger takes some of the bend out of the arrow that would have happened against a rigid surface. So, the arrow doesnt bend as much, doesn't rebound as much. Smoother acceleration, less wiggle in flight...

Archery shops - Are they taking the mick? (Online orders)

Aye, but remember it goes on size too. If the packing size they've got won't fit through the letter slot in the template, then it has to go as a more expensive category.

KINETIC ARIOS 2 RISER - Any good?

Alt Services? Never had any trouble with them. I remember the payment procedure was a bit round the houses but theyve always delivered.

KINETIC ARIOS 2 RISER - Any good?

FYI Alt Services are having a sale on the Kinetic Arios. A lot of Kinetic stuff is rebadged Chinese product but that doesn't necessarily mean its a problem. The low end Win and Win stuff is often made in China too. My budget compound was a Kinetic. Painted rather than anodised. Looked ok though...

Archery shops - Are they taking the mick? (Online orders)

I use the Netflix app on the Amazon Firestick 😁. As long as I order enough stuff from Amazon over a year, that the postage cost would have been a decent fraction of the cost of Prime, I'm happy enough.

    Compound shooting

It's true about aiming at the wrong target though. 😅

    Compound shooting

'Can of worms' meet 'tin-opener'. There are some benefits from getting the same light levels in each eye making contrast and glare less of a problem. Personally, I shoot one eye closed.

Ours too. Extra fun once I moved to a compound with a hinge type release. Took a while before I dared to attempt to come down.

    Not many posts here........

Now I really want one of those voice changer Darth Vader helmets to shoot in. I find your lack of faith disturbing.

I've had a Shibuya stick on rest on my recurve set up for years without trouble. Always carry a cheap spare for emergency use though. Before that I had a Spigarelli ZT wraparound. Great in the wind because of the deep hook but the little adjuster screws just stripped if you looked at them...

Archery shops - Are they taking the mick? (Online orders)

Apparently they get charged the extra if they put it through as one thing and the central depot or whatever disagrees. I do find that some try harder than others to get a package through the slot in the gauge though.

I've heard that some of their jobs are pretty well paid but mind numbingly boring. Hence a high turnover.

Maybe the Decut button comes in chunky packaging. Like a big plastic bubble. It doesn't take much change in thickness to jump into the parcel pricing ranges.
