Can a plunger make arrows (that are already too stiff without a plunger) weaker?

Alright so basically if arrows are too stiff without using a plunger, after using a plunger it will still be too stiff. Thats what I thought too, thanks for the confirmation guys.

Can a plunger make arrows (that are already too stiff without a plunger) weaker?

Also, how about a 1716 uncut arrow on a 20# and 18# bow? Is it too stiff for those poundages?

Can a plunger make arrows (that are already too stiff without a plunger) weaker?

Just a side question, does the easton arrow chart refer to the draw length or the arrow length?

Can a plunger make arrows (that are already too stiff without a plunger) weaker?

The Easton Arrow Chart shows a range of 21 - 27lbs tho. For all we know they could be referring to a 27lbs bow. Furthermore, I don't see how a 21lbs bow can shoot a 1816 arrow lol without being too stiff.

Can a plunger make arrows (that are already too stiff without a plunger) weaker?

Hi I have some questions regarding arrow spines and plungers. Wooden riser with wood limbs: 68" at 24#. Assume 28" draw length. No plunger is used. Easton XX75 Platinum Plus arrows: 1716 spine. Length is uncut. First question: Are these arrows too stiff for the bow? If yes, the arrows are too...

Riser Are risers limited in terms of poundage?

Risers that have a slimmer sight window may not handle high poundages well as it is more prone to bending or twisting. For comparison, look at the sight window of a W&W Winex (original) and W&W CXT.

Bow arm shoulder shrugging up when expanding.

Thanks guys for all the advice. Now, another question, how do I prevent the DRAW arm from shrugging up as I expand? Like its still ok as I draw the string, but as I use my back (right scapula) to expand, my right shoulder inevitably shrugs up and I end up squeezing my trapezius instead, leaving...

Bow arm shoulder shrugging up when expanding.

Hi, I have a habit of shrugging up the bow arm as i try to expand through the shot. This creates tension in my right upper trapezius. I also cannot expand through the shot properly as my bow arm feels 'stuck' like as if theres no more room for expansion. Does anybody know of this issue and how...
