    TP or not?

Thank you for this, makes sense, I will give it a try. I am sitting here smiling to myself as I imaging the joy you felt when you managed to get the sight over the target, must've felt great. The Beiter Block is square with a round opening I will swap it for something that is completley round

    TP or not?

Hi all, I had a go with the bow again today, 80cm face, at about 10-12 yards, this is what I found. If I just raise the bow I am able to "keep" the sight on the gold, if I raise the bow, pull the string I am also able to keep the sight picture. When I have an arrow on the rest and draw the...

I saw it yesterday, an cautiously measured the poundage at 28". it came out at just over 30lbs, which is still too much for her. As the bow was given to her by une family member she has decided to give to to another, explaining the history etc. Once again thank you for your help

    Bow Info required

Morning Berny, Thank you for your speedy reply, and useful info which I will pass on to her. I will also try to get a look at the bow and possibly measure the poundage at 28". She is relatively new to the sport and doubt is puling more tha 30lbs, so this may be too strong for her. I've attached...

    Adjustable nocks

It is an `AA elite tab. (I like them), so I will wrap the spacer with surgical tape

    Adjustable nocks

Yes, I sort of found that all my nock were roughly in the same place, so I have a good starting point. What tape did was to show me that I was pressing down on the top nock

    Adjustable nocks

I agree, it's just getting the initial setting in the first place, I have several bows, so lots of tuning required The evolution path for me was brass nocks on and off, tape on and off, tie on, on and off, now tie on adjustable.

    Adjustable nocks

Hi All, Happy New Year, I am a right handed archer and have used various methods to tie on adjustable nocks on strings made by several manufacturers and I understand there is a "universal" way to lay down the center serving, The problem I face is that the bottom nock points always winds it self...

    TP or not?

Hi Timid, thanks, makes a lot of sense, especially the over thinking and expecting the perfect sight picture. I guess because this is all new to me I am putting in too much effort in the wrong areas, which could be destracting me from what is really needed. I will come back to it in the NY...

    TP or not?

Morning, yes you are correct, and thanks for the suggestion I partially tried it yesterday, but instead of putting the arrow above the gold, (it is very hard for me to see / focus on the arrowpoint), so I had to put the Sight Tunnel above the gold, it actually helped, but it wasn't as easy as I...

    TP or not?

Hi all, I decide to revisit this since my last post in July, and now think the problem is a mental one and not physical. I've reduced the poundage of the bow from 40lbs to 30lbs with just a long rod. I have a Beiter Sight Tunnel with just a circle (no pin), no matter what distance I shoot,I find...

    Riser advice

Update, I managed to get practically brand new Gilo GT 25" for a very good price Now considering I normally shoot traditional, this riser had a completely different feel to it, and something I liked. it seemed steadier and more balanced. I not just saying this because I bought it and need to...
