Are you a longbowist?

I was taught on a beginner's bow & the sight was explained to me, I think I did about two-three weeks with it, then I asked the club coach if I could ditch it, just couldn't be bothered with all the faffing around.

The club coach was totally supportive of my decision
Great that you have coaches who support traditional style

I thought so too, wasn't sure if I was going to get pressured in to recurve but, as I said, several of the club members already had Traditional bows they play with if not compete. Some people even make them, they're a pretty cool group, love my club :)

There once was a staunch longbowist,
Who moaned angrily shaking a fist,
Made digs all the time,
At both ends of the line,
Determined to not coexsist.

There now stands an ex longbowist,
Who finally saw through the mist,
He tried one real quick,
fell in love with the stick,
A convert within our midst.
