Bohning X2 for target recurve?

I liked the camo Bohning X2s and am wondering if anyone have tried them for recurve target shooting (both indoors and outdoors)?

Are they too heavy etc?

all I would point out is that World Archery is bring out a no-camo equipment rule, and depending on the level of competition to which the rule would apply to (world ranking event or any WA event) you may find that they would fail at the equipment check.

Just having a quick check, do the X2's come in camo??

Ah apologies, I mixed up the Blazer and the X2. What's the difference apart from the size and weight and the same question applies to both of them, is either or both suitable for target recurve?

Thanks!

the Blazers are slightly more taller, a bit longer and a couple of grains heavier, could they work with a recurve, yes, though being prouder you would have to ensure good clearance of the riser. As for "too heavy", only trying would be able to tell you that. You may or may not have issues at 90m/100yds. Spinwings would be less than 3gr in total, Blazers would be 18gr (X2 = 12gr)
