We were all quite happily shooting last night when a Red deer joined us, so we all had to stop whizzing arrows around, while the deer ran round the field a few times before leaving us with a spectacular bound. It was a pleasant interlude between looking for arrows. The deer was lucky our resident Hungarian wasn't there as we know from his holiday snaps, that it would have been shot , eviscerated, strapped to the boot of his car and transferred to the freezer before the juniors could have said "Oh look, Bambi".I don't think they are ready for bow hunting just yet and resultant blood and guts.
