Shortening Ace's
Hi All
I know that ace,s should be cut from both ends when they need Shortening, my question is how would it effect the arrow if it was only cut from the front? Were talking 1 or 2 inch difference at the most.
Thanks for your time.

Yes, the recommendation on the Easton "barrelled" shafts is to cut from the front only, never from both ends. The selection charts are set up with that assumption.

Thanks, I was told with being barrelled they have to be cut both ends to keep the widest centre in the centre if you know what I mean.

If you cut from the back, you'll radically alter the way the spine behaves. If I'm buying second hand barrelled arrows, I always ask if they've had anything off the back, because I've been caught out in the past.
Stick to just chopping from the front.
