Compound Bow EK Archery

Would like to know if any one have a EK Axis I?m looking to get one for back yard archery
thay look like plenty of adjustments

I would not recommend any compound for 'back yard' use unless you have a huge back yard. If some one does a sky draw and looses the arrow could go more than 200 yds

Looks like a cheap Chinese product.
Be prepared for:
- mediocre accuracy
- some optical flaws
- greater mechanical tolerances
- no spare parts
- no / limited support
If "backyard shooting" means without special requirements regarding accuracy and durability - yes, it should be o.k.
Which doesn't make the bow less deadly.

I tried (with sufficient space), and got almost 480 yds (at 52 lbs).

Yep I?ve had an arrow go more than 400 yards with 52lbs. And that was a fairly heavy aluminium XX75!

Hi why not go for it, if its in your price range, it will get you shooting and having fun. I shoot an ASD Black Monster and find it more accurate than my shooting is ever going to be.
