This was filmed at 1200 frames per second and replayed at a further 1/4 speed.

Maybe I need a slightly stiffer spine ;)

great stuff. I just watched the "turning arrows". Who needs to tune arrows for straight flight after watching that?

I think it's just a tad underspined ;)
The problem with warbows is that the long draw and heavy doesn't do the arrows any favours.
I'm looking to drop down to about 90# at 26-28" for the next flight ELB.
The arrows are a very esoteric subject even before you get into the bows.
.... dunno what the Easton chart worriers would make of it all :rotfl:

it beautifully explains why my nocks get mashed when loosing flight arrows. Bit of plucking and they are nowhere near a centre line as they are propelled like that. Shear forces.
