The Ogaden is nice, great quality and stunning price.Thankyou for the replies, it restoreth my faith in people a mite.... I may well invest in a seemingly traditional horsebow after all...such a choice though..

Cecil...named after me Thanks . I tried a thread a while ago looking at what makes the different horsebow types but there wasn't a huge amount of detail in it. The Bowyers bibles had the best outside of 'specialist books. I bought all the specialist books I could find however but am still struggling with Mongol and Korean archery (though I haven't put much effort in to the latter yet). I thought that would be well documented when I look. Hungarian bows are a good starter imho, the Ogaden at the value end going to Kassai / Grozer as the 'names'.Righto, sorry if I appear ignorant, I think I may call my new bow when purchased 'Algernon' though.....or Cecil. !!

I bought a horse bow from them ages ago. I liked it a lot and it shoots fine. Other people in the club liked it too and some of them have bought traditional bows as a resultHas anyone purchased a bow or kit from these people and suffered as a result, or, is all in their favor.... they seem very capable and well stocked at the right price...???
