(a) The targets shall be set up at one end of the ground. They shall be inclined at an angle
of about 15 degrees, with the pinholes 130cm (4ft 3in)? 5cm above the ground. The height of the pinhole on a line of faces shall at all times look straight.
I have taken this from the rules of shooting from GNAS.
I have been trying to find the height at which the target should be. I am now confused as to what is meant by "pinholes".
Does this mean the place where the target pins are placed?

Could someone please point me in the right direction, all I want to know is how high the centre of the gold should be from the ground.

Thank You

The little cross in the centre of the target face is traditionally called the pinhole

I guess, in the days of drawing circles with a pair of compasses the centre of the rings would be a pin hole made by the compass point.
