Any ideas what this is?

I have literally just opened my Archery box having not used it for quite a long time(years!!) but keen to get back to it. One bit of 'kit' which is in there is an L shaped piece of aluminium with a self adhesive strip on one edge and A&F on the back - the photos explain better. I cannot for the life of me remember what this is for can anyone help please? My Bow etc was originally bought in 1990

Clicker plate (extender). Hole for the clicker to be attached and the scale at the bottom for setting the position consistently. Quite old
Needs a bow with a flat front (back, technically) surface to attach to.

I made a couple out of plastic boxes for my kids when they were using wooden bows. The flat surface was brill but they were a bit noisy!
