I'm wanting to start to experiment with weight on the riser for shooting barebow.
I don't really want to spend a fortune on weights.
I'm currently using my inno cxt with the factory weights on each side. Otherwise nothing else.
I've just been looking in my scrap pile to see if I can find anything to use, and found an old alternator pulley. It weighs 560g and bolts straight into the front of the riser with a spare v-bar bolt.
I just have a few questions...
1. Providing that it fits through the ring ok, will it be ok to use for now?
2. Is 560g a reasonable starting point?
3. Am I ok to have the side weights on as well? I read somewhere about the weights having to be in one place. Technically I have two weights at the moment and this would make it 3. I did a competition today with the side weights on and it passed the equipment inspection fine.
